A hundred years on from its founding, the Communist Party of China is still in its prime, and remains as determined as ever to achieve lasting greatness for the Chinese nation.

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the Embassy of China in Belgium made a themed video titled "Tracing the historical path, Recalling century-old friendship". The video recounted historical stories of Nie Rongzhen and Chinese communist pioneers who came on work-study trip in Europe and later spread Marxist thinking in China, and also stories of foreigners who supported China's revolution and foundation in the international spirit of upholding peace and justice. It shows the arduous journey and remarkable achievements of the CPC in realizing national independence and leapfrog development, pays tribute to the deep friendship between Chinese and foreign people, and expresses CPC's aspiration to join hands with all the people devoted to pursuing peaceful development in the world and persistently work for the better future of humanity in the spirit of "seeking harmony without uniformity" and "diversity makes beauty".
