On June 11th, Ambassador Cao Zhongming was interviewed by EUobserver Editor-in-chief Koert Debeuf. The ambassador talked about decision by the National People’s Congress to enact a legal system and implementation mechanisms for national security in Hong Kong and the white paper titled “Fighting COVID-19: China in Action”, and answered questions on matters related to China’s response efforts, S&T cooperation, China-EU relations, and 5G.
