We took note of Belgian media reports on “3 million unusable FFP2 masks from China”. The Embassy pays high attention and is working to verify whether the involved medical supplies have been purchased from companies warranted by competent Chinese authorities. The Embassy states again our suggestion that the Belgian side double check the license of the supplier and whether the products meet the standards required for intended usage prior to placing orders to ensure the quality of masks and other protective supplies.
